Frequently Asked Questions

Is assistive software available in other labs on campus?

Yes, JAWS,  MAGic and Kurzweil 3000 are available in the following labs on campus: Library, Business, CIS, Reading Center, Writing Center, Learning Center. Trackballs and  left handed keyboards are available upon request.

Can I drop in and use the Assistive Technology lab to write papers and research on the Internet?

Yes, students registered with DRC have access to the DRC lab. Please sign in when using the computers. Check the posted schedule for open lab times.
