The Great California ShakeOut Drill 2012
On Thursday, October 18, 2012, millions of Californians will “Drop, Cover and Hold On” in the “Great California ShakeOut” - the largest earthquake drill ever!
As part of this effort, College of San Mateo will be conducting an evacuation drill on Thursday, October 18 at 10:20 am and 7:15 pm.
|Buildings 1, 5, 9||Quad area between Public Safety/Medical Services Building 1 and San Mateo Athletic Club Building 5|
|Buildings 2, 3, 4||Southwest area by Art Building 4|
|Building 8||South entrance of Gymnasium Building 8, near the turn around|
|Building 10||College Center Plaza, near the fountain and Forum Lot 8 east of College Center Building 10|
|Buildings 14, 15, 16||College Center Plaza, near the fountain and Socrates Lot 4|
|Buildings 12, 17, 18, 19, 20||Main spine, south of Science Building 36. North Hall Building 18 may also evacuate to the Socrates Lot 4.|
|Efforts should be made to keep the sidewalk on the main spine clear for emergency vehicles.|

Major earthquakes may happen anywhere in California and the ShakeOut is a chance to be more prepared.
