The College of San Mateo Music Department is proud to present the John Daversa Septet performing with the CSM Jazz Combo in the intimate setting of the CSM Choral room.

John Daversa is an internationally respected performer (Trumpet/EVI), composer, arranger, producer, bandleader, educator, and BFM Jazz recording artist. He is a winner of the Herb Alpert Award, David Joel Miller Award, the National Trumpet Competition, the ITG Jazz Soloist Competition, and was a finalist in the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition. His stellar group will be on tour from Los Angeles, and College of San Mateo is honored to have his world class musicians as our guests.
