Dental Assisting is a wonderful area of healthcare! You will have opportunities to provide dental health services to a wide variety of patients while earning a comfortable living. The Dental Assisting Program at the College of San Mateo will fully prepare you to sit for both the State (Registered Dental Assistant) and National (Certified Dental Assistant) examinations. You can graduate with a Certificate in Dental Assisting in two semesters. It also can serve as a stepping stone into a later career in dental hygiene. Some of the best hygienists were once Registered Dental Assistants!
