Meet the Faculty

Tom Diskin, Professor
Tom Diskin is currently a professor of Electronics Technology and has held that position for the past 27 years at College of San Mateo. Tom has taught courses in general electronics, aviation electronics, electronic music (MIDI), wireless communications technology, network cabling, and most recently renewable energy. Tom currently holds a certification in Solar Energy from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP), and is a member of the American Solar Energy Society (ASES), NorCal Solar, California Council of Electronics Instructors (CCEI), and MATEC. He is currently developing a certificate program in renewable energy for CSM.
