What do I need to access the library's resources from off campus?
All you need to access the library's resources from home, work, or any other location off-campus is a computer or device with an internet connection and (for some resources) a current PLS or CSM library card. Find out how to get a library card for Distance Education students here. The CSM Library website is supported by all major browsers.

What devices are supported?
In addition to Windows-based and Apple personal computers and laptops, the library website is accessible by all personal electronic devices, as are most of the website features. Many of the library's eBooks support eReaders. Take a look at the eReader devices page to see the formats supported by various eReaders.

Who should I contact if I need help accessing resources from off-campus?
You're welcome to use the Zoho chat box located on any one of the library's Distance Education pages to talk with a librarian during open hours about library resources and troubleshooting. You can also call the reference desk at 650-574-6232.
