Mission
The Office of Planning, Research, and Institutional Effectiveness (PRIE) is dedicated to supporting a “climate of evidence” at CSM, in which institutional planning and decision-making are evidence-based, transparent, participatory processes. Its mission is to foster institutional effectiveness by providing a variety of information, analysis, training, research, and planning tools that support operations, decision-making, and planning within CSM’s community.

Research
PRIE provides a variety of accurate, accessible data, information, and institutional research to foster the continuous improvement of CSM’s programs and services. It offers technical expertise in research, assessment, and survey design and in the analysis of data and information that supports institutional decision-making and meets external mandates.

Planning
PRIE supports institutional planning as a participatory process, coordinates activities related to measuring institutional effectiveness, and provides a variety of analytic and educational resources that improve design-making processes.

For more information about PRIE, see About Us.
