Overview

Caminar's Supported Education Program in collaboration with the College of San Mateo provides students with the opportunity to experience a safe beginning or re-entry to college and to acquire skills to be a successful student. Our classes are designed to address the needs of students with co-occurring and psychiatric disabilities. Students can receive classroom accommodations, college counseling, priority registration, and individual support for school needs. In addition, we offer Peer Support Services and Vocational Certificates. This study track provides training for students interested in working as a peer mentor in the human services field. Our classes can lead to certificates, degrees and most of all, a life changing experience.
