Transitional Age Youth Program
College of San Mateo's Transition to College Program, in collaboration with Caminar Supported Education, now offers a specialized program for Transition Age Youth which provides educational support services to 16-25 year old students with psychological disabilities. Students in the Transition Age Youth Program are provided with the opportunity to experience a safe beginning or re-entry to college through attendance in specially designed courses and enrichment activities.
Program Requirements
18-25 year olds:
- Must have a verifiable disability
- Must complete intake process and meet CSM admission requirements to be eligible for the above services.
16- 17 year olds:
- Must meet above criteria
- Must have completed the high school requirement (Diploma, GED, CHSPE)
- Have parental or agency consent to be eligible for services.
