F1 international students at College of San Mateo (CSM) must pursue Associate Degrees and Transfer Programs that typically take two to three years to finish as students need to complete all necessary graduation and/or transfer requirements (up to 60 degree applicable units/credits). For your convenience, our International Education Program website provides all of the information and also a step-by-step guide to becoming an F1 international student at College of San Mateo.

Students who are not intending to study as an F1 student will find admissions information on our Apply as an International Student page. Individuals in the U.S. on a B visa are not eligible to take classes at CSM.

San Mateo Adult School is committed to fulfilling the mandate of Adult Education in California. San Mateo Adult School offers free English Second Language, High School Diploma/GED, Career Education and other classes. You will find information about the San Mateo Adult School and their classes on the San Mateo Adult and Career Education website.
