Are Wellness Center services available while the CSM campus is closed?
Wellness Center services are now available in person and virtually while classes are in session. Appointments are available for students Monday through Thursday, 9 am- 3 pm. And on Thursdays from 4-5 pm. We also see students for walk-in appointments.  

How can I make a virtual appointment for medical or personal counseling services?
To schedule an in person or virtual appointment for health services and for personal counseling, pleaseemail csmwellness@smccd.edu, call (650) 574-6396, or visit the Wellness    Center Overview page and click on the blue button labeled, “Schedule an appointment” during our regular business hours(Monday Thursday, 9 am - 3 pm) while classes are in session.

Are these services confidential?
All services are confidential.

What types of medical services are provided?
The Wellness Center provides assessment, management, and treatment of:

  • Medical advice and referrals to internal and external resources
  • Medication refills excluding any scheduled drugs
  • Flu-like symptoms
  • Cold and cough
  • Conjunctivitis
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Minor wounds/lacerations/abrasions
  • Gastroenteritis
  • Allergies
  • Mild allergic reactions
  • Contact dermatitis
  • Bug bites/spider bites
  • Minor cellulitis
  • Pharyngitis
  • Sprain, strains, and joint pain
  • Back pain
  • Indigestion and heartburn
  • Nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea
  • Family PACT patients: including STI testing (completed at Quest) and treatment, pregnancy tests (completed at Quest), birth control refills

What should I do if I think I’ve been exposed or infected with COVID-19?
Please self isolate at home and schedule a telemedicine appointment.   

Is COVID-19 testing available in San Mateo County?
Yes, free COVID-19 testing is available in San Mateo County, please visit the COVID-19 Testing webpage for details.

Are TB tests still being provided?
Yes, please email csmwellness@smccd.edu or call (650) 574-6396

Can I get prescriptions filled?
New and refill prescriptions can be completed.
